Robert Henderson Nagy, 91, of Loganville, GA passed away on December 8, 2018 at his home. Bob (Pop) was born on January 31, 1927 in Clairton, PA to Stephen and Sara Nagy. Bob worked as a metallurgist, and retired from the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin, PA after 38 years of service. Bob served in the Army Air Corp stationed at Hickam Field, HI. Pop was a quick witted individual who always had a keen sense of humor. He had a way of lightening the mood, no matter what the circumstance. He was a man of strong faith, devoted to his family, and his beloved wife of over 65 years, Lois Craig Nagy. Theirs was a true love story for the ages!
He is survived by his brother Stephen Nagy (Audrey Nagy) of West Mifflin, PA, his two sons Rob Nagy (Cheryl Nagy) of Loganville, GA, Scott Nagy (Debbie Nagy) of Conyers, GA, and grandchildren Josh Nagy (Patricia Nagy), Rachel Webb (Jeff Webb), Sarah Kill (Rick Kill), Scott Nagy (Amanda Nagy), Thomas Youdell, Kevin Nagy, Nick Nagy, Allison Eberly, Alex Waldrup (Katie Waldrup) and great grandchildren Morgan Webb, Jayden Reeder, Mason Nagy, Chloe Nagy, Logan Miller, Presley Waldrup, Emma Waldrup, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will be receiving guests on December 14th, 2018 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville, GA. There will be a viewing from 12-3 pm with a memorial service immediately following.
