Patrick Edwards

Patrick O’Neal Edwards was born in New Orleans, LA on April 20, 1939. He was the eldest child of Evelyn and Honor Edwards. He graduated from St. Raymonds High School in New Orleans. During his lifetime, Patrick held multiple positions. He was held in high esteem by his coworkers and management. He was an extremely intelligent man and excelled in computer technology. Patrick had five brothers, Rev. Leroy Edwards of New Orleans, Calvin Edwards of New Orleans (preceded in death), Joseph Edwards of Austin, TX, Sidney Edwards of New Orleans, (preceded in death) Randolph Edwards of Lithonia, GA, and one beautiful sister, Annette Bradley of Stone Mountain, GA, whom he adored. Patrick leaves behind his loving wife Kathryn and three stepchildren, William Elliott of Victorville, CA, Stephanie Elliott of Barstow, CA, and Teri Elliott of Riverside, CA and 3 grandchildren who adored and respected him, Brent Johnson of Victorville, CA, Paris Gordon and Briaunna Elliott of Barstow, CA. He also leaves behind 3 sisters-in-law, Barbara Green-Sy of Ontario, CA, Myrtle Edwards of Austin, TX and Ruby Edwards of Lithonia, niece Marie Bradley of Torrance, CA, nephew Kirk Edwards of New Orleans, his beautiful 97 year old mother Evelyn Edwards, his caring 96 year old Aunt Edith and a host of cousins. Patrick was a kind, gentle, and caring man who loved his family. He was willing to listen and help anyone who needed it. He loved animals and enjoyed traveling. He was a computer genius and everyone in his family relied on him whenever they experienced any type of computer problem. He was simply an awesome human being and had a good spirit. That wonderful spirit is now with our Heavenly Father. He will be greatly missed and the world has lost a very special person. Rest in Peace, we will always love you.
