Pat was born in Phenix City, Al on September 6, 1926. She was a homemaker most of her long life, however, also sold Tupperware, Amway, she was a champion bowler, she led the Heart Healthy Walking Club, she loved to get a tan in the summer, and get her hair done every Friday. Later in life (around 88 or so), she would actually skip a Friday hair appointment because it became difficult for her to get around. She was a strong personality with a smile that could light up a room. She always made an impression on whomever she met, and is quite unforgettable.
She gave her children a strong will and resolve to get things done “right” and to have confidence in every situation. She loved music and singing (now her daughter is a singer), going to church and socializing. She especially loved chocolate in every known form (cake, ice cream, pure chocolate). Her favorite beverage is Chick-fil-A sweet tea.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Ted Williams, whom she loved so very much. She is survived by her children David Pinholster and wife Sydney, Patricia Mercaldo and husband Alan, Pamela Williams, and grandchildren Cory, Martin, and Julia Pinholster and Zach Brownfield.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the wonderful ladies of Home Instead who provided care for Pat the last years of her life, including her final days.
