Norma was born November 27, 1923 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose Kennie Kitchens and Gladys Attaway Kitchens. She graduated from Jackson High School. For many years she did the bookkeeping for her husband's business Doraville Auto Parts located in Doraville, GA. She designed and sewed most of her clothes and the clothes for her daughter Sheila. Her husband of 47 years James David Mulligan preceded her in death as did their son James Daniel (Danny) Mulligan and her sister Joyce Kitchens Smith.
Survivors include her daughter Sheila Mulligan Ferraro and her husband James C. Ferraro, Jr. and their son Chris James Ferraro and his wife Lisa Moore Ferraro. She is also survived by her son Danny's wife Ceclia McElroy Mulligan and stepson Maxwell Price and his son Triston Price and his wife Lindsey and son Jett. She is also survived by her son Danny's Daughter Julie Mulligan Moniot and her 3 daughters Jaden Nicole Moniot, Jenna Kaitlyn Moniot and Jacey Ava Moniot. She is also survived by her son Danny's daughter Terri Mulligan Nicholas and her 3 daughters Heather Lynn Nicholas, Rachael Marie Nicholas and Leigh Ann Nicholas and Rachael's 2 sons Gunner and Sid Avery and Leigh Ann's 2 twin Jocelyn and Jemma.
A graveside service will be held at Eternal Hill's Memorial Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA on September 10th at 1:00pm.
A private celebration of life to be held at a later date.
