Margaret Shelia Yvonne Kite

During Margaret's early childhood years, she attended grade school in Knoxville, TN where she graduated from West High School. After high school, Margaret attended Tennessee Technical University, located in Cookeville, TN, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree.

Margaret and her husband, Stephen, was blessed with one son. They instilled in him religious beliefs, education, respect for others, and a good work ethic in order for him to exceed goals in life.

Margaret accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a very young age. She always put God first before making any decision in life; she praised him to the very end.

On Sunday morning, December 5th, 2021, Margaret answered the Heavenly Father's summon to be called home to glory. Margaret, who would answer by the name of Shelia, knew to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord. No more pain and suffering, no more tears to be wiped from her eyes, and no more worrying because God shall wipe away all the tears from her eyes.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished with her husband: Stephen Kite, Sr.; her one and only son: Stephen Kite, Jr.; her parents: Mr. Walter Joe Downs, Sr. & Mrs. Jessie Virginia Louise Downs; and a host of other relatives and friends.
