Louise Carrier Eyler, an Atlanta resident since 1965, passed away on Tuesday, April 4th at Emory University Hospital.
Born on August 21, 1925 in Sullivan County, Tennessee, Louise graduated from Holston Valley High School and attended Virginia Intermont College. After college, Louise worked at the American Thread Company in Bristol, Tennessee.
Louise was an active member at the Kingsbridge Retirement Community where she served as Council President in 2016. Louise enjoyed an active social life, was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with her family, and volunteered at the library in Kingsbridge. Louise was known for her quick wit and impeccable sense of style.
Louise is survived by her son, Anthony Denver Eyler, and his wife, Barbara Eyler, her two grandchildren, Elizabeth Eyler Harris and Zachary Denver Eyler, and her grandson-in-law, Robert H. Harris, II.
Her parents, Arthur and Fannie Carrier, and her siblings, Earl Carrier, Wayne Carrier, Norman Carrier, and Hazel Carrier Freeman, precede her in death.
Memorial services for Louise will be held at Kingsbridge Retirement Community on Thursday, April 13th at 3PM.
