Such a sad year for the Crabtree Family ~ Rex's death in Jan. followed by Jean's terminal illness.  My heart goes out to all of the family.  Jean and Rex were some of the best people around!  I loved them both!  You will live on in every one of your friends and family's hearts.   Sincere sympathy and wishing I could have been there today for the funeral. I am saddened at the loss of my longtime and wonderful friend. We went to school together and spent a lot of time with each other. It was through Rex that I met Howard, my husband. We have a lot of good memories that I will always cherish. I know Jean is no longer suffering and we take comfort in that. She and Rex are together again and I know they are happy! May God comfort Thomas and his family, Betty and her family in the sad days ahead. May God keep you close to him and give you strength in your loss. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.  Rest in peace Jean. You were loved by many and will be missed.

We, at RL Bishop & Associates, Inc. in Manchester, GA, have truly missed Jean since her retirement.  We always loved to see Jean and Jerry when they came to visit in Manchester.  I always loved sitting and eating with them in our kitchen. Jean was an awesome lady, that will certainly be missed by many.  RIP Jean, until we meet again!

Jean virtually never missed a day of work for any reason. Even in sickness she would find her place at work everyday...We know that she will be in a better place now alone side of her devoted husband. All employee's of Everett Dykes Grassing enjoyed working with Jean through H & H.  She was such a kind and helpful lady. She will surely be missed by all.

I have lost a dear and lifelong friend. We went to school together and married the same month of the same year. Have a lot of good memories of Jean and Rex. I will miss her so much, but know that she is in a better place where she is not sick anymore. She and Rex are together again and both are well and healthy.
