You have been and will remain in our daily thoughts and prayers.
Harold was an angel on earth.  We admired him for his outpouring of kindness to EVERYONE.  A long time ago, Harold wrote  his cell number on a small piece of paper in case we ever needed him.  It remains in my billfold.  He will always remain in our thoughts and hearts.

Sorry to hear of Harold' death.  Elaine called me.  Sorry, I didn't know he was sick with cancer.  My husband lived one year after his diagnosis.
My thoughts and prayers is God will take care of you and help you through each day.  I stay busy and have a lot of support from my friends.  It's still not easy.  We were married 54 1/2 years.  I have all the good memories, and so will you.

A huge Peace Lily was delivered on June 13, 2012 to Harold  and Randa at their Lilburn, Georgia home.  This was the last plant Harold enjoyed.
The very first plant (tree) Harold and Randa received in honor of their wedding some 36 years ago was sent by this loving and caring couple.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend Harold's home going service on Saturday.  I was officiating a wedding.  But I wanted to let you know I thought the world of Harold.  He was one of the nicest men I've ever met.

I don't even know what to say to you, except that we were shocked and saddened to hear about Harold.  We thought he was getting better.  We are so sorry! What a wonderful man he was!  I thought the world of Harold.  He was so good to us after Mike's accident, and we will never forget it!

It is a great joy of mine to be able to say Harold was (is!) my friend. He is a friend of GOD!  I know he and Charlie are enjoying GLORY!  Talking to the prophets and patriarchs! WOW!  Seeing JESUS FACE to FACE!  
The crowns Harold has earned are many. SO MANY people have been encouraged by his sweet visits.  (and those dimples!  Charlie has them, too!)  
May God comfort your hurting heart and your empty arms.  HE is good.  All the time.  What JOY is ours to look forward to seeing JESUS' face and our precious men again!

We have been worried about you this week and traveling in such bad weather.  This was going to be a hard week for you without having to put a tropical storm in the mix.
I'm hoping that some of the heartache will be eased by the memories and love that will be embracing you this week.
We will always remember Harold as the ULTIMATE GENTLEMAN but also a Gentle Man with a Twinkle in his eye.
We have made a donation in Harold's memory to the Good Samaritan Clinic in Gulf Breeze, FL.  This is a faith based organization that I (Elaine) was privileged to be a part of in it's infancy.  It is now caring for 2800 patients' total medical and dental care.  All the care is FREE to it's clients including prescriptions.  It is 100% volunteer clinic.  There are no salaries.
I hope this is okay with you that we made our donation to the Clinic instead of the church.

My wife and I met Harold and Randa soon after moving to Panama City in 1989. We bought 2 recliners. We joined the same church and soon became friends,the best kind, Harold happened to be in Dothan on this day but I was having some work done on my car and they said it would take about 2 hours. I took a book and walked 2 blocks to Lazy Boy and told Randi I wanted to try every recliner in the store.  I would read a few pages and change chairs,read and change,read and change,read and change. I don't remember how many pages I read or chairs I sat in but it was bunch. When Randa told him he got a kick out of it and then I bought another chair. Harold was the best and I look forward to seeing him again soon. Clarence Robinson Powder Springs,Ga.

I will always remember Harold's kindness to everyone, especially my Mom.  It meant so much to her to have that special bond with him. Heaven is all the more sweeter knowing he is there.
