Greg Britt

W. Gregory Britt, 84, passed away December 7, 2016, in Stone Mountain after a two month illness. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty, four daughters, Debbie (David), Kathy (Jeff), Linda (Tom) and Lisa (Blake). Twelve grandchildren: Melissa (David), J.R. (Monica), Candice (Matthew), Ben (Tyne), Lindsay (Ben), Aimee (Teyo), Brittany (Frank), Sandi (Tim), Rachel, Logan, Ryan and Austin. Ten great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Bella, Abi, Noah, Isaac, Emi, Tessa, Tristan, Teyo and Julia Rose. He loved them all and they all thought of him as a hero. Greg has been retired from the United Sates Air Force for 44 years. He proudly served 20 years and earned 2 Bronze Stars and other decorations and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Greg was a member of Bethlehem First Baptist Church. The family requests no flowers as he planted every flower he ever wanted. Anyone who wishes may send a donation to Bethlehem First Baptist Church Building Fund to help build the new church. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 11am – 1pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Daniel officiating.
