Delores Vaughn Britt

Delores Vaughn Britt, 83, of Snellville, passed away July 9, 2019. Delores was born on October 7, 1935 in Atlanta, GA and leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Sherry Gillespie and Elizabeth Britt;1 son, Jim Britt; 5 grandchildren, J Stephens, Shannon Swann, “Rocky” Gillespie, Katie Gillespie and Maggie Holdaway; four great-grandchildren, Triniti, Layla, Clarissa and Kaylee. Delores is also survived by her sisters, Loretta Tanner and Linda Jacobson.

Delores was a loving mother and grandmother– she was called ” Gran” by most, and those that knew her appreciated her loving and kind ways. She will be fondly remembered on so many levels…her willingness to go with you anywhere, her ability to whip up brownies and mashed potatoes and her love for her family, Braves baseball and the Food network! Delores, she did it her way!

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 12 at 11 AM at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville.
