Betty was born the 12th of December 1940, to Harold and Lily Brown Culbertson in Athens, GA. She was a homemaker par excellence; and enjoyed raising her children and caring for her family. She was also a member of White Plains Baptist Church of Jefferson, GA. To know Betty was to love her.
Betty was pre-deceased by her parents Harold and Lily Culbertson, her husband Jimmy Lee Scott, and her daughter Joyce Scott.
Betty is survived by her sister Barbara Smykowski, Her children: Tommy Scott, Donna Ansley, Lanny Scott, Karen Scott, Lisa Bryson, and Jonathan Scott; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, and her niece Jennifer Potter.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from twelve o’clock noon until twenty-five to two in the afternoon on Monday, the 20th of January, in Eternal Hills Funeral Home.
The funeral service is to be conducted immediately following the visitation at two o’clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of Eternal Hills Funeral Home, where Pastor Cory Pittman is to officiate.
