Betty Rodgers was born on April 17, 1934 in Sevierville, Tenn. She passed away a peaceful death on February 9th 2023 at her residence in Eatonton Ga.
She was the daughter of the late Merusha and Lawrence Williams Betty was a good Christian woman who loved the Lord. Betty enjoyed traveling with the crazy 8 and her husband of 65 yrs. Who preceded her in death in 2016. She loved cooking for her family. She would always say “nothing says loving like nanny’s muffins from the oven. She was a very loving mother of Teena Carr (Danny) of Eatonton Ga. They were extremely close. Betty loved her grandchildren Chad Moser (Arley) of Watkinsville, Shane Moser (Sonya) of SC, Corey Moser (Sandra) of Commerce and Danny Carr jr. (Nicole) of Florida. She enjoyed spending time with the great grandchildren Madison, Cyril, Amelia, Wyatt, Hannah, Joselynn and Carrie. Betty was a member of Lakeshore Community Church in Eatonton Ga.
Betty was preceded in death of her husband Winnerd Rodgers, son Stephen Rodgers and sister Bea Woods. Betty cherished her friends from Tennessee, and niece and nephews.
