Barbara Watson

Barbara was an active member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church and Cornelia United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. One of the things that brought her the most joy was spending time with her great granddaughters. Barbara had a passion for the Lord and enjoyed spending her free time studying the Bible and sharing her love of Jesus with others. She was known by others as outgoing and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Albert “Ben” Watson and two grandsons, Chris Brown and Kenny Newell.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Beverly and Ray Trott, Helen; Brenda and Harry Bishop, Swarthmore, PA; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Joyce Watson, Lilburn; granddaughter and grandson, Brooke and Danny Lowe; great granddaughters, Emma Murray, Alysa Newell, Sadie Lowe, Kennie Lowe, Evie Lowe and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 2, 2020 in Eternal Hills Chapel with Rev. Jim Landis officiating. The committal service will be held in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens directly following the service.The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville.
