Barbara Post Edwards

Barbara P. Edwards passed away after a valiant battle with colon cancer on August 24, 2019. Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the first born child of John and Janice Post. After attending college, Barbara was a school teacher in Ohio for a short time before moving to Florida in 1973 and beginning a career as a real estate agent. Barbara will always be remembered for her infectious smile and the way she made all who crossed her path feel special. She had a wonderful life filled with the love of many friends and family.Barbara had an incredible memory for dates, times, places and names which made her a champion Trivia player and a beloved volunteer at the Clermont Historical Society. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, John and Janice Post and sister, Holly. She is survived by her two children, Andy (Susan) and Heidi; her siblings, John (Pat), Cindy (George) and Charlie (Patty); three grandchildren, Megan, Nick and Tanner; one great grandson, Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews who brought her great joy. She will be greatly missed by many friends all over the country.

A celebration of Barbara's life is planned for October 5 in Clermont, FL, as well as in Lilburn, GA, in November. Details will be announced for both events on Facebook in the near future.
