The son of B. Scott Pease and Sue Wells, Michael grew up in Kingfield, later moving to New Portland and then graduating from Carrabec High School, class of 1994.
Michael met his best friend and wife Amanda 13 years ago, blending families in September of 2017.
Michael had many passions including operating heavy equipment which he did the majority of his life, the last 8 years being with Nitram Excavation where he met best friends Scottie and Brent.
When Michael wasn’t operating an excavator, he could be found on the dirt roads fishing, sitting in a tree stand patiently waiting for “that one”, riding his snowmobile with his little club “porcupine trail riders” or cracking a cold Bud light listening to Country Gold at camp. Michael's hunting and fishing trips were memories he held close to him, especially ones with his grandfather “chuddy” Pease as well as his father and brother. One of Mikes fondest memories was two hunting seasons ago when he got to be with his daughter Brei as she shot her 7-point buck.
Michael is survived by his mother Sue Wells and husband Dwayne, Father B.Scott Pease and wife Felecia. Michael's’ best friend and wife Amanda, his children Austin, Jackson, Kelsey, Breianna, Mylie Mae, and Kalli Rae. Two grand daughters Beatrice and Everleigh, in-laws John and Lois Farrell, best friend and brother Chuck (Charlie) wife Kara, sisters Kim, Patty, Whitney and Mindy. Mike also held the title of uncle Mikey to many little ones that he thought the world of including, Hudson, Parker, Dallas and Phynix. Michael holds many memories with close lifelong friends Eric Morrill and Danny Nile.
Michael was pre-deceased by both sets of grandparents.
A celebration of life is planned for October 14th at 4pm at his favorite place to be “camp”, Sandy Beach, 126 Sandy Beach Rd, Madison Maine. Please come join his family with your favorite “Mikey” story, enjoy some good food, laugh and have a cold one in remembering a great man who meant so much to us all.
Funeral arrangements are provided by Smart and Edwards funeral Home in Skowhegan.
