She was born January 14, 1929, in Starks, Maine, the daughter of Ernest and Ellura (Day) Palmer.
Lynette graduated from New Sharon High School in the class of 1947 and also from Kennebec Valley Vocational Institute as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in 1977.
She married Kleba Trafton who passed away in 1976.
Lynette spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother, she worked a short time as a CNA for the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Skowhegan and she had also worked part time at the Towne Motel in Skowhegan.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. Lynette enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading and she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons; William Redlevske and his wife Terry of Coopers Mills, Leon Trafton of Skowhegan, her brother Gervin Palmer of Dixfield, her sister Pauline Hennings of Farmington, four grandchildren; Christie, Jackie, Bill and Jasmine, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her close friend Denise Rich.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her daughters; Cindy Redlevske and Patricia Redlevske, brothers; Leslie, Hubert, Ernest and Damon Palmer and her longtime companion Leland Gilley.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with Rev. Mark Tanner officiating.
