Iva M. Watson, 82, of Skowhegan passed away, Wednesday July 11, 2018 after a long illness.

She was born July 24, 1935, in Harmony, Maine, the daughter of Walter Bert and Janet (Bowdoin) Knight.

Iva married Stanley Edwin Watson on October 6, 1953.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Meredith Knight and Edith Kalloch and her husband Charles.

Iva is survived her husband Stanley Watson of 64 years of Skowhegan; her sons, Stanley Watson and his wife Marjorie, Michael Watson and his wife Allison, and Ronald Watson; her six grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and her sister Eva Rowe.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine with a burial to follow at the Cambridge Memorial Garden Cemetery in Cambridge, Maine.

Arrangements are under the care of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
