He was born March 7, 1965 in Skowhegan, Maine, the son of Frederick H. Winchester Sr., and Gertrude E. Landry Avery.
Fred was educated in the Skowhegan and Solon Area Schools.
He spent many years working for Merchants Floor Sanding.
He loved to tinker on automobiles and liked cruising around listening to music. Fred loved spending time with his family and was a great story teller and was a prankster.
Fred is survived by his mother, Gertrude Avery and her companion Gerald of Skowhegan; his four children, Frederick H Winchester III of Cornville, Trina Adams and her husband Zach of Cornville, Chenyrene Winchester and her fiancé David of Bangor, Daxton Winchester of Anson; two granddaughters, Avah and Alyssa; his girlfriend, Carrie of Skowhegan; two brothers, Richard Winchester Sr. and his companion Brenda of Norridgewock, Ty Dauphinee and his wife Michelle of Skowhegan; one sister, Regina Dauphinee of Skowhegan, several aunts, uncles, several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday May 12, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, burial will follow at the E. Skowhegan Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.
