She was born in Anson on March 5, 1939, the daughter of Albion Elmer Libby and Janet Violet (Fowke) Libby.
She attended high school in Madison and graduated in 1957, following that Dorinda received her RN degree from Central Maine Medical Center in 1960, after which she worked 40 years at Skowhegan hospitals.
Dorinda was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Douglas Libby and Robert Libby,and sister Hope Landry.
Survivors include her sons Chuck Morse and Robert Morse, both of Skowhegan; sisters-in-law Sandra Libby, wife of Douglas Libby and Kay Libby, wife of Robert Libby; sevengrandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Dorinda enjoyed gardening, camping and travels throughout Maine, especially the coast.
The family would like to thank Cedar Ridge Nursing Home and Redington-Fairview General Hospital for the excellent care provided to Dorinda.
There will be no funeral services; a graveside memorial will be held in the spring at Pierce Cemetery in Solon. It was Dorinda’s expressed wish that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.
