

He was born August 2, 1942 in Portland, Maine, the son of Arnold Cain and Madeline (Flagg) Pinto.
Al served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict on the USS Forrestal.
He worked for Scott Paper Company and S.D. Warren for many years. He then worked for Ken’s Restaurant and Bowling Alley doing maintenance for many years.
He was a member of the Skowhegan/Madison Elks Lodge, The Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge in Skowhegan, the American Legion in Skowhegan, the Sportsman Club in Skowhegan, United Bikers of Maine, a member of the Moose Lodge in Pine Island, FL, member of the V.F.W of Skowhegan, and a member of the Abanaki Snow Riders of Madison.
Al was an avid hunter and fisherman. He belonged to the local bowling leagues. He enjoyed four-wheeling, boating, and loved to dance. He spent the last 10 years going to Florida in the winters and doing a lot of deep sea fishing around Pine Island and he loved to ride motorcycles.
He is survived by his spouse Celine Manzer of Skowhegan; his children, Willard “Joe” Cain of TX, Lorie Cain-Feather of Canaan, Tami Sargent and her husband Randy of Fairfield, Allie Stacey and her husband Nick of Hampden; Chris Manzer and his wife Georgiana of New Hampshire, Clint and his wife Laurie Manzer of North Anson; one sister, Violet Hall and her husband Arlo of Houlton; his grandchildren, Vicky, Lawrence, Danielle, Stephanie, Amanda, W.M. Jordan, Nathaniel, Zachariah, Hayden, Cailee, Charlie and Corbin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and his partner in crime Ken Dionne of Skowhegan as well as many other special friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers.
Viewing hours will be held on Saturday September 24, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A graveside service will be held on Sunday September 25, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Solon, Maine.
