On December 20, 2023, Yu Fong Lee passed away peacefully at the age of 76 at Holy Cross Hospital. She was a seamstress by trade for 50 years and worked at Woodward & Lothrop and Fabricare Draperies Inc. where she sewed custom draperies for the White House. She is survived by her daughter, Rose (Gary) Ng, and son, Richard (Su Ping) Lee, and grandsons, Zachary Ng, Nicholas, Nelson and Nathan Lee. She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Xue-Fang Tam, Carol Lam and Beth Shiu and her brother Don Tam. Mrs. Lee was known for her delicious authentic Chinese cooking. She worked really hard throughout her life retiring at age 70, and was extremely kind and helpful to family and friends. May she rest in peace with her husband, Kwock Ben Lee who passed away on January 31, 1988.
