Sun Hee Kim

Sun Hee Kim, age 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2016. She was born July 27, 1954 in South Korea, and married Yong Kim on Sept 5, 1977. She joined her husband soon after in Northern California. While in Maryland, she was a homemaker and later a small business owner in the Georgetown community. Like all mothers, she provided endless love and devotion to her family. She was an ardent follower of Christ, and always led by example. She enjoyed daily morning walks and evening swimming with her husband. She exhibited incredible grit and immense courage as she battled cancer for the past 2 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Yong; son, Daniel; daughter, Grace; sister, Sun Hwa Ahn; brother, Jae Soo Lee; mother, Bong Eui Kim; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 AM at Hines-Rinaldi funeral home. The family will greet friends and guests prior to the service. Reception to follow.
