Ronald D. Pinsky

Ronald David Pinsky passed away on Friday, March 24 in Annapolis MD. Born in Milwaukee WI in 1946, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, a Master’s in Education from the University of Virginia, and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University.

Ron had a long and illustrious career as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Treasury, before retiring in 2015. In his free time, Ron loved spending time with his family, traveling, and playing bridge and poker.

Ron met his wife Joan when they were only 10 years old, and shortly thereafter Joan wrote, “I love Ronnie” in her diary. They started dating after college, marrying 53 years ago in 1969.

Ron is survived by Joan, his daughters Laura Pinsky (Steve Foertsch) of Arlington VA and Gail Rand (Colin) of Annapolis MD, and grandchildren Aidan, Chloe, and Logan Rand. He also leaves brother Neil Pinsky (Karen), sister-in-law Sue Gardner (Phil), nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Steven and his mother & father.

A service will be held at the chapel at Garden of Remembrance, 14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg MD 20871 on Tuesday, March 28 at 2:00pm.
