

Ronald was born in Evansville, Indiana. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was very proud of his service. He loved bluegrass, sailing, golf, model trains, he played many different instruments and even played a mandolin in a bluegrass group in Silver Spring, where he had lived for most of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Kelly Boatright of Prince Frederick; daughter, Ms. Amy Boatright Garcia of Alexandria, Virginia; daughter, Ms. Julie Poling of Kensington, Maryland; stepdaughter, Joelle Long (William) of Mt. Airy, Maryland; stepdaughter, Jeanine Paxton (James) of Prince Frederick, Maryland; cousin, Mrs. Sylvia Julian of Evansville, Indiana; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren, five step greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904 on Monday, April 14th. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and a
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
