I worked with Bob through the Group 1 and Pitney Bowes years.  He was so kind and always willing to answer any questions or lend a hand.  I'm saddened by his passing, but grateful to have known him.  My heartfelt condolences to the family.  I will keep you all in my prayers.

I remember Bob from our Group 1 days.   He was a very nice guy, very genuine and direct.  He helped me with technical issues, and we shared a hobby where we would discuss new discoveries and share information regarding resources to support that hobby.

Worked with Bob while at Pitney Bowes.  I remember when he offered to go with me on a business trip to 'Chicago' - which ended up being 2 hours outside of Chicago in the smallest of towns who's idea of vegetarian meal was a house salad with cottage cheese.  After day 3 I remember Bob in the calmest voice ever asking the server if they could whip up something different because he couldn't handle eating any more salad.  Her reaction was priceless as was Bob's when he received another salad with cottage cheese.

Always a voice of reason with sharp humor, I appreciated Bob because he was unapologetically authentic.  Shocked to hear of his passing but glad that I got to share time on this earth with such a great human.

Bob was one of my best friends from Group 1, I spent many hours in his office laughing and chatting with he and Paul.  We were always together and chatting.  I am so very sorry to hear he is gone he will be missed and  remembered fondly by many coworkers.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends, he loved his boys with all of his heart and was always about them and his family.

Robert was one of the first folk to welcome me at my new job way back in 1998.  I have since looked at him as my one of my mentors.  Always there to talk, called his office the oasis.  So many good times at work and chatting after and online.  I am never good at saying goodbye and not good at coming up with things to that could make this easier for his family.   To say he was a great man is not a cliché or fake, he was to me.  As a huge Star Trek fan, this means even more now:  I have been – and always shall be – your friend.
