I am praying for Mrs. Cunningham and her family.  May God wrap his arms around them during this difficult time.  Mrs. Cunningham and I worked for the same company many years ago.  I remember when she and Mr. Cunningham were married.  He loved his family dearly.  May he rest in paradise.

Bob was a caring and helpful neighbor.  He welcomed us to the neighborhood and always had time to chat over the fence.  He was ready to help with advice or the loan of a tool.  He will be very much missed in the community.

I worked at Glenmont railyard for 3 years  and Mr. Cunningham was one of the first people I met there. He was a kind, hard working family man who always wore a smile when he spoke in the morning. Who he was as a person and what he did has left an impression on all of us. He will always be known as a hero and  will be sorely missed. The Noble Family sends our thoughts, love, prayers to the Cunningham family.  

God bless you Robert for your selfless act and your years of dedicated service to the community. 

I am truly sorry for Cunningham's passing. His tragic death is painful to his family, friends, and coworkers. His selfless deed and kindness will live on for years to come. My sympathies go out to his family.

I wanted to share my deepest condolences for you and your family. I also wanted to thank you and Robert for showing us all the kindness and courage within him to help others during this horrific situation. Robert's actions clearly saved lives and allowed others to live on. 

Robert's  actions and memory will live on forever and I pray your family can find comfort in the gratitude we have for his selfless actions to help others.

I worked with Robert at Metro, quite often while we were at Glenmont Yard. We talked a lot about music and sports. He was interested in learning guitar, and he would ask me to show him technique, etc.  He had a great laugh and his face would crinkle up when he smiled. I was very saddened by his tragic death, but not surprised to hear he’d sacrificed his life to save another. The Baker family sends condolences to his family.
