Born March 27, 1940 in Washington DC. she was the daughter of the late James P. Fulford and Annette G. Fulford.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her first husband; Edward L. Norwitz Jr, her second husband, Charles J. Puglisi, (the love of her life) and her brother Paul N. Fulford Sr.
To continue her legacy of love and generosity, Pat leaves behind: her daughter, Wendy L Norwitz (Ron), her son James E Norwitz (Lynne), her loving brother, Michael J. Fulford (Leslie) grandchildren Stacy, M. Stevenson (Matt), Steven J. Norwitz (Heather), great grand- daughter, Harleen G. Norwitz, as well as many additional nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Pat was a proud alumnus of Northwestern HS class of 1958, a lifelong Washington Redskin fan especially (Sonny J. #9) Pat absolutely loved the East Coast waters; from the Chesapeake bay, to Ocean City, MD and down through Emerald Isle, North Carolina. Pat was a proud descendent of the donators of the land and original “keepers” of the famous, Cape Lookout Lighthouse in North Carolina.
Pat was an avid reader and collector of cookbooks, wine, Redskin memorabilia, snowglobes and lighthouses.
Throughout her amazing life Pat enjoyed several careers which began with working as the switchboard operator at family owned Fulford’s Colony / Appliances and as a child care provider and private seamstress while her children were growing up. Pat also served as a Secretary for several different companies involved in the rapidly emerging computer industry. Pat along with her daughter Wendy, owned and operated the Artistic Needle, a small stitching/needle- point shop loved by many. In her spare time, Pat was a successful chicken farmer on MDs eastern shore.
Pat also volunteered her time and energy to the community, serving as a USO dancer in her youth, as a volunteer at the 5th District Volunteer Fire Department in Clarksville, MD and serving on the bereavement committee at the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City, MD. Pat was also an enthusiastic mem- ber of her gourmet club.

A Visitation will be held on on Tuesday April 15th, from 2-4 & 6-8 at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home 11800 New Hampshire Avenue Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at 11am at St. Louis Catholic Church 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029. Following the service, a committal will take place at George Washington Cemetery in Adelphi Maryland. The family will be holding a celebration of life following services at the cemetery at the Ten Oaks Ballroom 5000 Signal Bell Lane, Clarksville, Maryland 21029
