Panayiotis Georgakopoulos

Panayiotis was born in Olympia, Greece. He moved to Athens at the young age of 16 to pursue a career in construction management. While in the military he met the love of his life, Marianthi at age of 21. After being honorably discharged he married her. They started their family immediately after and at the age of 32 he had 4 kids and had started his own business. He was a savvy businessman and his charismatic personality helped him to achieve multiple businesses with branches throughout Greece. He immigrated to the United States at age of 47 where he partnered with his young children and started a new career in the moving industry.

Panayiotis was always proud of his achievements but above all he was mostly proud of his children and grandchildren. He spent his retirement years living life to the fullest but he never forgot where he came from. He traveled the world but never stopped to help others. He loved to sing and dance and his sense of humor, energy, enormous generosity to his family and others left unforgettable memories.

He will be terribly missed by his wife of 55 years, his children and 8 grandchildren. He left a big void in everybody’s heart.

Farewell dad, we will always love you and remember you. Rest in peace.
