Morris Maurice Isaac was born on October 18, 1954 in Baltimore, MD. One of twelve children of the late Woodrow and Doris Bernice Isaac. On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, devoted husband and father, Morris, departed this life at Collingswood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rockville, MD.
While stationed at the Marine Barracks in Philadelphia, PA, Morris met and courted Carolle Michel, where they wed in the Summer of 1975 and moved to Hyattsville, MD to raise their Family.
Morris, who more commonly went by Pot, IKE (“I know everything”), or Dad, departed this life after a quite lengthy illness. A true middle child, Morris found creative and humorous ways to get attention and constantly reminded his siblings that he was “the shiny white dog among 11 black ones.”
Although Morris was an outspoken, fun loving individual, the moniker of Dad was one that provided him with the most pride. Born with the gift of gab, Pot enjoyed meeting people, getting into deep conversations, laughing, and providing council. That council which was honed throughout his lifetime will surely be missed but, the lessons he provided will not be forgotten. Pot’s words have truly helped in guiding a new Isaac generation, we all ache today but, know our tomorrow will be better since we all have memories to look back on.
He leaves to cherish his beloved memory: his wife, Carolle; two sons, Tracy (Adina) and Kelly; one grandchild, Simone; four sisters, Sandra, Linda, Wanda, and Kathy; two brothers, Lesley and Wesley (Jerry, Annette, Brenda, Raymond, and Doris preceded him in death); and many nieces and nephews.
Morris Maurice Isaac, a man born with a first name so nice his mother named him twice.
