Mary Ann Hill

Mary Ann Hill of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away peacefully at Casey House Hospice on April 25, 2022, after a short illness at the age of 84. A beloved mother and grandmother, she was predeceased by her husband, Curtis R. Hill of Denver, Colorado. Born Mary Ann Girod in Lubbock, Texas in 1937, she met her husband while attending Texas Tech University. They lived in numerous places in Oklahoma before settling in Denver, Colorado. After the passing of her husband, Mary Ann moved to Plano, Texas for a few years before settling near her children in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Mary Ann leaves behind her daughters, S. Renea Livingstone (Neil) of Silver Spring, Maryland and G. Kathleen Hill of Chevy Chase, Maryland; three granddaughters, Grace Livingstone of Silver Spring Maryland, Maura Livingstone Nace (Chad) of Hanover, Pennsylvania, and Colleen Livingstone of Missoula, Montana; and two siblings, sister, Linda K. Knight (Robert) of Fate, Texas, and brother Steve Girod (Laine) of San Diego, California.

Mary Ann cherished her time with her family above all else and was an active member of her church in every location she lived, most recently at Colesville Baptist Church. A private family gathering to honor her memory is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
