Marvin Carl Perry On Sunday, July 10, 2015, Marvin Carl Perry of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away peacefully at the Montgomery County Hospice. Marvin was born April 12, 1941, in Hartford, Connecticut, son of the late Maria Perry Simmons and Abel Perry Sr. He graduated from Norwich Free Academy High School, and immediately joined the United State Air Force. He was employed by the Federal Government for over 31 years, working at the United States Security Exchange Commission, and State Department until his retirement in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Carpenter) of 38 years; his daughters, Leslie T. Perry of Washington, DC, and Paige L. (Perry) Crawford of Jacksonville , Florida; two grandchilden, LaJuan Perry and Erving C. Perry; close friends Carol and Bob McAlpine of Silver Spring, MD and a numerous host of family and friends. Interment at a later date at the Arlington National Cemetery.
