Jose Roberto Melgar, age 83, of Glenn Dale, Maryland passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. Jose was born April 2, 1938 in El Salvador to Mercedes L. Panameno and Jose H. Melgar.

Jose is survived by his wife, Josefa Melgar; his daughter Ruth Melgar.

A visitation for Jose will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. A committal service and interment will follow Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Maryland National Memorial Park, 13300 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel, Maryland 20707.
