Helen Ellison Clark (nee Helen Virginia Ellison), age 90, of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Helen was raised in rural southern Virginia, the youngest of six children born to Henry and Ada Ellison. She often recounted fond memories of her childhood and how much she loved her parents and siblings. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Ada Ellison, and her siblings: William "Pistol" Preston, Walt Ellison, Warren Ellison, Marshall Ellison and Rebecca Cassell.
Helen was married to Donald Foglesong and they had two children together, Ann F. Miller and Bobby Foglesong. Helen's second husband was Donald Clark. Together they had two children, Donna "Kim" Beall and Curtis Clark. Helen is survived by her four children, 8 grandchildren: Lynn, Ben, Stephanie, Kyle, Connor, Cole, Coby and Cory and her great grandson Cade.
Helen worked in many aspects of the customer service industry over the years, including banking and retail sales. She enjoyed visiting with friends, loved animals and watching the Redskins and TV game shows. Helen was a supporter of local animal charities and loved to feed the birds in her neighborhood.
A visitation for Helen will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, (11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904). A funeral service will occur immediately following the visitation at 12:00 PM. A committal service and burial will occur Monday, December 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park (12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland 20853).
