Harriet Gloria Hall was born to the late Harriet Moreland and the late James Hall, in Washington, D.C. on March 8, 1931. She was raised by her paternal grandmother Mary Alice Kirby after her mother’s untimely death, soon after her birth. She passed to her Heavenly Reward peacefully on February 25, 2023, (just shy of her 92nd birthday). She will be greatly missed; and we will forever hold her in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harriet Moreland, grandmother, Mary Alice Kirby, sister Helen Tatum and cousin Vivian Betton. She is survived by her cousin Barbara Moreland, (8 nieces) Fredrica Miller (Robert), Freida Hancock (Harold), Fredella Baylor, Fredette West (Richard), Faye Davenport (Samuel Sr,), Helen Covington (Thomas Sr.) Donna Miller, and Kim Miller (Alva), (2 nephews) Henry Miller (Linda), Gregory Miller, (goddaughter) Teryl Smith (James), other relatives, extended family and beloved friends.
A Service of Love In Celebration of The Life of Harriet Hall will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at The Inter-Faith Chapel in Leisure World located at 3680 S Leisure World Blvd., Silver Spring , MD 20906 at 10:00 A.M.
