George Wingo

George W. Wingo, 86, beloved husband of Eula Wingo passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on December 26, 2021. George was preceded in death by his son George Douglas Wingo and is survived by his other 3 sons, Jamey, Gary and Jerry. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Family man at heart.

George is a U.S. Army Veteran who served his country as a medaled Sniper and Demolition Expert. He spent 32 years working at Parklawn Memorial Cemetery which was like a home away home where he loved working with the great people who he considered his closest friends. George touched many people and was a man you could always count on whenever you needed him. If there was anything you needed fixed, he was your man, from your vehicle to any part of your home, and much more. He could fix or build anything you needed with his bare hands.

He will surely be missed by many!
