Frederick C. Snyder

He was born on July 3, 1930 in Rachel, WV and was the son of the late Aljournon and Mary Johnson Snyder.

In Rochester, NY in 1960, Fred married the love of his life, Joanne, and together they spent 62 years together, sharing a true bond and love story like no other.

Fred always put his family first. He was a Teacher and High School Administrator with Montgomery County Schools. He loved to fish, coach, watch all sports and dote on his beautiful wife.

Fred was the beloved husband of Joanne Snyder, loving father of Michael Snyder, Steven Snyder (wife April,) Kate Snyder (wife Jen,) and Kristy Dillman; cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Lucas Snyder, Griffin and Jacob Snyder, and Cole, Courtney and Catherine Dillman; dear brother of Clifford Snyder, James Snyder, Edna Friend, Vonda Keim, Ruby Haymond, Lexie Longstreth, Lillian Barnes, Eleanor Snyder, Sue Nuzum, Geraline Wolfe and Betty Jantz; treasured extended family of Julie and Juan Zaldumbide and their son, Aiden.

A Celebration of Life is planned for April 26th from 4-8 pm at Green Meadows Petting Farm, 10102 Fingerboard Road, Ijamsville, MD 21754.
