On Monday, November 14, 2016, Ellen T. Besket, of Columbia, MD and formerly of Silver Spring, MD passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late John J. Besket; loving mother of Mary Ellen Eddy (Bruce), Nancy Orwig (Patrick), Joan Ferdock (Darrell), Margaret Adams (Alan), Kathleen Brosh (Tal), Judith Roberts (Allen), Janet Pin (Peter), Susan Hindle (David), Stephen Besket and the late John Michael Besket. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson and soon to arrive great-granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11:30 AM. Reception immediately following in church community hall. Interment will be private at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ellen Besket's name to either The Arc of Montgomery County, 11600 Nebel St., Rockville, MD 20852, Attention Douglas Gaddis or to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
