Edmund was educated in the Georgetown Public School system and for a brief period in the East Bank Demerara Public School system when the family relocated to the East Bank Demerara region.
At the completion of his studies, Edmund went to work for his dad for a number of years. With his sites set to go abroad, in 1956, Edmund immigrated to London UK where he worked with 1the London Transit Rail system for more than ten (10) years.
Edmund eventually returned to Guyana in 1967 where he established his own business which remained fully functional until he left his homeland to go abroad once more.
In 2000 Edmund and his siblings left Guyana to immigrate to the United States.
In the United States Edmund was gainfully employed by Kmart Corporation for more than eight (8) years. He eventually became ill and was forced to retire early due to protracted illness.
Edmund was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Leah Warner.
Remaining to cherish the legacy and his memories are his siblings: George, Ivan, Beryl, Kenneth, Ivelaw and Lennox. Nephews: Colin, Mark, Ronnie, Terrence, George, Fitzroy, Wendell, Orin, Carl, Rawle, Troy, Michael, Dwane and Denzil. Nieces: Rhonda, Karen, Gwinett, Deon, Dana, Jackie, Simone, Jennifer and Kim. And a host of other relatives.
As a family we mourn and we hurt, and we will certainly miss Edmund. We cannot always know God’s purpose; but by faith, we accept each incident that unfolds is the will of God for our lives.
Edmund is gone, but he will never be forgotten.
