Douglas Ivan Ledford, 55 from Silver Spring, MD passed away April 7, 2025 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. He is preceded in death by his parents Donald Ivan Ledford and Norma Jean Fraley Ledford, a brother David Ledford. Doug leaves behind a wife JoAnn Chilcote Ledford. An uncle Roy Fraley an aunt Connie Fraley and many cousins. Doug got his love of trucking from his Uncle Roy and obtained his Class A license. He drove for US Xpress, CR England, and most recently Hoffman Transport whom he worked with for 20 years. Doug enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, working in the yard and garden, spending time with his wife and beagle Zeke. Doug made friends wherever he went.. he was a kind benevolent soul who will be missed by many.
