Diane Solomon

Diane Edis Solomon age 81, died April 8th peacefully in the hospital surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. Diane was born June 23rd, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Joseph and Fannye (Rubin) Cushner. She graduated from Towson University with a teaching degree and was a successful antique dealer in Kensington, Maryland. She was married for 61 beautiful years to her husband, Bernard Solomon. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Gilbert Cushner. She is survived by her husband, their children Stephen (Jacqueline) Solomon and Marc Solomon. Diane was blessed with loving grandchildren: Mandi (Solomon) and Jonathan Gold and Ryan Solomon.

A service of remembrance will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday April 11th at Temple Emanuel, 10101 Connecticut Ave Kensington, MD 20895. Steve and Jackie will be receiving people at their residence after the burial for an early dinner. Shiva will be at Jackie and Steve’s residence on Wednesday and Thursday evenings with Minyan at 7pm each night.
