David Yul Han heartbreakingly passed away on July 4th, 2022 at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. He passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, after a battle with pneumonia. He is survived by his wife (Linda Han), two sons, two daughters, six grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, nephews, nieces, and numerous other beloved family members. David will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
David Yul Han (baptism name: Paul) was born in South Korea and immigrated to the United States in 1974. He worked hard every day to provide for his family, and to be a savvy and accomplished, yet honest, entrepreneur. David’s charisma, quick-wit, and leadership qualities led him to become a successful businessman and well-respected member of the community. He was always willing to make contributions to charities, and never hesitated to help those in need. His legacy in the retail, grocery, and wholesale distribution arena will be forever-remembered, and passed on through his son, Jeff Han.
Not only was David diligent in his work life, but he was also a dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. He was the pillar and glue that held the family together, and he relentlessly emphasized the importance of spending quality time together. Family dinners and outings were his favorite pastime, and he truly enjoyed sharing stories and laughter with loved ones. Even as he sat on his hospital bed, he was more concerned with the welfare and well-being of his wife and children after his death. The love and care that he gave to all those that he loved, and to all those that loved him, will resonate in our hearts forever.
Although we are deeply sorrowed by David’s passing, we are joyous that he is with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven, where he will rest in peace for all eternity. Please join us as we celebrate his life, blessings, and the love that he bestowed upon all those who knew him.
