Daniel Evan Nissenbaum, age 51, of Astoria, New York passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Daniel was born August 26, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was the beloved son of Larry & Linda (nee Halperin), devoted brother of Sheryl Firestone (Lee), and uncle to Julia, Caroline, and Andrew. Daniel will also be mourned by his extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 12PM on Friday, April 22 at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Gettysburg National Military Park. Please make checks out to the National Park Service and mail it to the Office of the Superintendent, Gettysburg National Military Park, 1195 Baltimore Pike, Suite 100, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
