Charlotte Eskin

On Friday, December 29, 2023, Charlotte Eskin of McLean, VA, formerly of Leisure World in Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of 72 years to the late Marvin Eskin; devoted and loving mother of Sharon (James) Piper, Neal (Jodi) Eskin, and Richard Eskin; adored grandmother of Jamie (Richard) England, Michael (Becky) Piper, Erika (Gary) Kurlick, Jacob Eskin, Benjamin Eskin, and Adam Eskin; dear great-grandmother of Mason and Richie England and Maverick, Boomer, Dash, and Molly Piper; sister of Bernice (Eddie) Kisliuk, and Linda (Allan) Rosenberg.

Charlotte, nicknamed Chi, was the matriarch of the Eskin family. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to the Washington, DC area where she began her love affair with Marvin. Chi had a remarkable loving relationship with her two sisters; it set a unique example for the entire family. She was a loyal person and friend â€" a woman of great dignity and purpose. She was a perfectionist who "never left things to chance."

Her burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) or the charity of your choice.
