He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Vera (Bonanno) Mileo, stepmother, Vanice Mileo and his, son Anthony James “Jimmy” Mileo, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, June (Faunce) Mileo, daughter, Dolores Arseneault (Robert “Bob”), daughter in-law Gina Mileo Hutzenbiler (David “Dave”), grandchildren, Andrew Mileo, Kristina Mileo Norman (Michael), Rebecca “Becky” Arseneault and Anthony “Tony” Arseneault. He is also survived by his siblings Joseph “Joe” Mileo (Thea), Evelyn “Evie” Mileo-Bell and Rose Ann “Rosie” Mileo-Hawkins (Carroll Hawkins) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tony served 3 years in the Air Force during the Korean War, after which he began his career as a facilities design engineer at NASA for over 30 years before retiring. He was an avid waterman enjoying fishing and crabbing and sharing his catch with family and friends. When he wasn’t on the water or visiting with family, you could find him tending his gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1pm – 3 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm on Monday, May 10, 2021 and on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 10 am – 11 am at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 11am. Interment will immediately follow in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
