Bruce — As I told you just recently my only regret is that we lost touch with you and Anita for far too long. However, I am eternally grateful that we reconnected while Anita was here with us. She’ll always be now in our hearts and minds. Gone too soon …

I was reminded by Bruce that today would have been he and Anita's 26th wedding anniversary. 26 years. Gone too soon.

"You Both Kept Your Promise" -- Bruce, while sitting in your bedroom chair following the home-going for Anita you said a few sentences that just came out in a moment of reflection with no one else around. You looked at me and said something like: 'Nita and I promised to love and respect for richer or poorer ... in sickness and in health ... until death do us part.' You went on to say 'if nothing else is ever said about me and Anita ... she kept her promise to me and I kept my promise to her'.

May Anita's quiet and gentle soul Rest in Peace. I offer my sincere condolence to Bruce, Alex, and Clark Family.

I will truly miss my cousin Nita.  She was truly a blessing that God gave to our family.  I am so glad to had spent some time with her....she had a smile and a spirit that was enlightening and contagious to all that were around her.  His Word says, '...to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord...'  God has another angel but her time with us will never be forgotten.  Love ya!
