Mrs. Anchin Hsu Huang was a force of nature and the epitome of strength. In the summer of 1935, Anchin was born in LongTan, Taiwan to Hsu Zheng Cang and Zhong Run Gan. Growing up in a family of twelve children, Mrs. Huang labored and worked diligently with family chores and taking care of her younger siblings. She was one of three girls in LongTan Township to attend high school and was always at the top of her class.
Mrs. Huang was one of her father’s favorites because she was intelligent and did extremely well in school. Due to her exceptional acumen, Mrs. Huang’s mother entrusted her with many household tasks. After graduating from high school, Mrs. Huang worked for an accounting firm and often traveled home to cook for her family during lunch, then went back to work. She also took some courses at Taiwan Theological Seminary.
In January of 1966, Anchin married Pastor Jonah Huang and had three children. She devoted her life to helping and assisting Pastor Huang in all of his ministries, including planting churches, winning souls for Christ, and evangelism. Aside from being Pastor Huang’s most trusted confidant and fervent supporter, at home, she raised her children well - instilling them with firm Christian values and morals. She was also known for her excellent cooking. Often Pastor Huang would provide spiritual nourishment for folks, Mrs. Huang would provide physical nourishment with her great cooking, such as her most famous delicious dish - mi fen (rice noodle) and many others.
Mrs. Huang passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25th in her home in Burtonsville, Maryland, at the age of 88, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Huang will always be remembered for her strength, confidence, courage, determination, enthusiasm, and her resilience. Mrs. Huang was a devoted and beloved daughter, sister, friend, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by three brothers, three sisters, children: Joseph, daughter-in-law Jinhua, John, daughter-in-law Kelly, Ruth, and grandchildren: Anna, Emma, Kristine, and Christopher. Mrs. Huang has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.
黃徐安靜師母有著天生堅韌不拔的毅力和屹立不搖的生命力。1935年夏天,徐安靜女士出生於台灣龍潭,她的父母親是徐鎮倉長老和鍾潤甘女士。安靜女士成長在一個有十二個孩子的家庭,她勤勞地做家務,照顧弟弟妹妹。 她當年是龍潭鄉極少數上高中的三個女孩之一,成績一直在班上名列前茅。
安靜女士也是她父親最喜愛的孩子之一,因為她很聰明,在學校成績非常好。她常提到說,因為她很聰明,所以她的母親就會安排她做很多家事。高中畢業後,黃女士在會計事務所工作,中午時常會回家為家人做飯,然後再回去上班。 她也曾在台灣神學院修讀了一些課程。
1966年1月,徐安靜女士與黃仰恩牧師結婚,婚後育有三個孩子。她一生致力於幫助和協助黃牧師所有的事工,包括建立教會、為基督贏得靈魂和隨時隨地傳福音。黄師母不僅是黃牧師最信任的同工,在家中也養育了非常好的子女們,教導他們基督教信仰和知識。黃師母也是一位聞名的煮菜高手,她常提到黃牧師供應屬靈的,她供養屬腹的,她最有名的拿手好菜就是炒米粉,人人都愛吃。
黄師母於星期四1月25日在馬里蘭州伯頓斯維爾的家中平安地去世擁享88歲,家人都隨伺在側。她的子女們將會永遠記得母親的剛強、信心、勇氣、果斷、熱忱和堅韌。黃徐安靜師母是一位孝順的女兒、也是位好姊妹、朋友、母親和祖母。 她身後有三個弟弟、三個姊妹, 和她親愛的孩子們:約瑟、媳今華、約翰、媳凱莉、女兒路得,以及孫子女:安娜、愛瑪、婷婷、凱恩。黃師母已經打過了那美好的仗,跑盡了當跑的路,也守住了所持的信仰。
