On Thursday, July 13, 2017, Allan Irving Rose of Silver Spring, MD, passed away in his sleep. Beloved husband of Ann Clein Rose for 63 years. Devoted father of Ronald Rose (Lorna), Greg Rose (Jody), Wayne Rose (Jeannette), and the late Barry Rose. Proud grandfather of Sarah Rose, Grant Rose, Aaron Rose, Darren Rose, Angela Rose and Jenny Rose. Loving brother of the late Robert Rose and the late George Rose. Brother-in-law of Marilyn Rose of Bethesda, MD. A graduate of the University of Florida, Allan was employed by the Washington Post for 24 years as a layout artist. He was a lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins. Allan enjoyed coordinating worldwide travel events for family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens in Silver Spring, MD.
