We miss your gentle spirit, welcoming heart, and infectious smile. Our lives are so much richer and better having known you.

You're generosity, kind nature and humour will remain with me forever.  You live on in our hearts and memories.

You still had that great smile when I visited in February.

To say you were generous, kind, loving, and sweet would be an understatement. Anyone who met you, even for a brief minute, could describe you like that. You were always the perfect gentleman, a sharp dresser, and one of my favorite people to have conversations about history, politics and all the newsworthy gossip. You will be missed tremendously. Just know we will ALWAYS be there for Aunty Doll and Shanaz. <3

We are so sad about the passing of Abdool.  We mainly knew him through his plumbing work for us. He always did the very best job but mainly was the sweetest, nicest, kindest man one could meet.  He was always cheery and just a delight to be with.  We loved his stories of growing up in Trinidad. We are sorry for the loss to his family.

Uncle Rahim, you will be greatly missed. We were hoping for you to meet our daughter Danica. I have such fond memories of visiting you and auntie at the apartment in 1980 to your many visits to Trinidad, especially in 2014. You were always the life of the party, so much laughter. Soar with the angels dear cuz, you have earned your wings and freedom. You are with your beloved Mama, Papa, uncles and brothers Wahab and Rahaman now. May Almighty God grant your Shiroon and Shanaz the courage and strength as they cherish the beautiful memories you made together. Your dear chachee (Aunty Rookiah) is tomight holding a prayer session at her home for all at your hometown of Arena Road, Freeport Trinidad who could not make it to MD to bid farewell to you. She will deeply miss your visits, your jokes and chats, as you sit in the back porch savoring her home made treats and tea. She will be reflecting tonight on her early days in Arena. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts dear Rahim.

My friends: Abby, Sharoon, Shanaz: I will sorely miss my good buddy Abby. He was the kindest person that I ever knew and would be there if you needed a hand. My dearest uncle .... it saddens me that I won't be there when you are laid to rest but it saddens me more knowing I never got the chance to see you before you were taken. I know now you're in a better place and will always be watching over us. I will cherish all the memories we have had all these years.

Always a gentleman by actions and nature.  I will always remember his kindness to myself and my wife Lima, especially when we got married from his then home nearly 40 years ago.  So glad Lima was able to help in his final year.
