She was born Aug 27,1939, in Sikeston, Missouri to parents Vernon Illmo and June Pearl Edwards.
She was a non-denominational Christian minister who had a music and speaking traveling ministry spreading the word of God all over the United States. She founded Love and Lite Ministries.
She was a 1957 graduate of Rolla High School. While attending high school she was involved in choir and theater and attended the First Baptist Church of Rolla. She owned and operated a floral shop in Silver Spring, Maryland. She was the assistant to the Phelps County Circuit Clerk in Rolla, Missouri and spent time managing 2 retail stores in Rolla. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, theater, flower arranging and traveling. She loved spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Dee Beydler of Sikeston, and one daughter Elizabeth Beydler Hamlin of Sikeston; six grandchildren: Rachel Bernhardt, Stephen Beydler, Adam Beydler, Lauren Rae Kline, Jeremiah Moses, and William Hamlin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Jean Russell, and one granddaughter Krystle Sue Hamlin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Danny Kuykendall, officiating.
