She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Charles Glass of Bells, TX, a great niece Misty Dawn of Bells, TX, a great nephew Shaun Glass of Bells, TX, Sherry Johnson of Bell City, MO and Alan Britton of Sikeston, MO.
She is survived by her husband Jim Britton, her kids, Renee (Terry) Mitchell of Morley, MO, Brandon Britton of Morley, MO, a grandson, Cody (Brittany) Mitchell of Morley, MO and a great granddaughter Zoey Jane Mitchell.
She is remembered by most for being a hairdresser for over fifty years and owner of “Salon of Beauty and the Electric Beach” in Sikeston, MO for over twenty-eight years.
Sharon was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, MO for over thirty years.
She attended to and ministered to many customers over the years who became lifelong friends.
After retiring from being a beloved hairdresser she enjoyed sharing her hobbies of gardening, taking care of her flowers and plants, cooking/baking and sharing all of these with her kids, grands and great grand Zoey.
Sharon had a love for people and was always a care-giver with a beautiful, loving spirit. You could ALWAYS count on her to be there just when you needed it most.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, with Keith Olbricht, officiating.
Burial and memorial service will be held at a later date at the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
